Split to Omiš

Omiš is a town in the heart of Dalmatia, at the mouth of the river Cetina. It has a rich offering of cultural and historical sights, with old town in Omiš the main attraction.

We would especially recommend the following: The fortress Mirabella; a number of old churches and an old Franciscan Monastery which has an art collection and a library with old Turkish documents; the Fortress Starigrad (Fortica) and the Omis Summer festival.

If you prefer an active holiday, the following sport activities are offered at the Cetina canyon: rafting, canyoning, diving, hiking, and paragliding.

During the summer, there is a weekly pirate night, where guests can join in an evening with the fearful Omiš Pirates. Relics of the turbulent and proud history of Omiš are visible at every corner of the Omiš Riviera.
