Split to Šibenik

Šibenik, as the oldest Croatian coastal town on the Adriatic, has a very rich historical and cultural heritage. Only 5 cities in the world have two UNESCO monuments. Šibenik is one of them. Cathedral St. Jakov in Šibenik is the most important architectural achievement.

Wonderful highlights of the city and probably some of the most important attractions of Šibenik are the Trg Republice and the City Loggia. These attractions are right next to the famous Šibenik Cathedral with its magnificent, detailed facade.

Šibenik is also well known as a city of festivals. In the summer months, two fortresses – Sv. Mihovil and Barone, turn into an annual venue for numerous musical and cultural events.
